More than 2000 private lubricant companies across the country will no longer have to worry about not being able to find their "mother's family" in the future! On the morning of June 27th, the Lubricant Professional Committee, initiated by the Petroleum Industry Chamber of Commerce of the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce, was officially established in Nanjing. Representatives from 30 private lubricant enterprises and related upstream and downstream enterprises from all over the country, as the initiating units of the professional committee, participated in the establishment conference. Ma Li, Secretary General of the Petroleum Industry Chamber of Commerce of the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce, You Shengwei, Vice Chairman of the China Anti infringement and Counterfeiting Innovation Strategic Alliance, and Li Xiaodong, Director of the Member Office of the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, were invited to attend the conference and give speeches.

At the conference, Chairman Shi Junfeng of Longpan Technology, the chairman of the Lubricant Professional Committee, first read out the approval document from the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce approving the establishment of the Lubricant Professional Committee. Subsequently, all representatives of participating enterprises voted by show of hands to pass the management regulations and related systems of the Lubricant Professional Committee.

A plaque awarding ceremony for member companies was also held at the conference venue. Among them, Longpan Technology is the chairman unit of the Lubricant Professional Committee, Zhuhai Meihe, Yuangen Petrochemical, and Tom Packaging are vice chairman units, seven enterprises including Shenzhen Lanyu Chemical and Beijing Longrun Kaida are executive director units, and nineteen enterprises including Beijing Zhongrun Huayou and Jiangsu Gaoke Shihua are the first batch of member units.

At present, China's lubricant industry is entering a new stage of development, and structural adjustment and technological upgrading have become the primary tasks facing the entire industry. The continuous improvement of various manufacturing technologies in the automotive industry and industrial enterprises has prompted Chinese lubricant companies to keep up with the technological and equipment level of the manufacturing industry, continuously improve product quality, and maintain the healthy development of the lubricant industry. With the development and growth of China's automobile market and the improvement of domestic lubricant market consumption capacity, major foreign lubricant brands have also seized China, and the development of national lubricant brands has a long way to go. However, for many years, domestic lubricant companies have not been able to establish a nationwide industry organization, which has hindered the development of China's lubricant industry, especially the development of private lubricant companies that account for more than 90% of the industry.

The Lubricant Professional Committee of the Petroleum Industry Chamber of Commerce of the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce was officially established today, bringing together a group of elite enterprises in the Chinese lubricant industry, filling the gap in the national lubricant industry organization, and marking that the Chinese private lubricant industry has officially established its first standardized national organization.

In the future, the Lubricant Professional Committee will play an active role in four aspects under the guidance of the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce and its Petroleum Industry Chamber of Commerce:

One is to become a bridge and link between the government and lubricant companies. As a directly affiliated organization of the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Lubricants Professional Committee will promptly convey various government policies and guidelines to member enterprises, strengthen communication between the government and enterprises, effectively play a bridging role, and truly become a "government assistant and enterprise confidant".

The second is to represent and safeguard the legitimate rights and common economic interests of members in the lubricant industry. The Lubricant Professional Committee will leverage its position and advantages to actively organize market development, release market information, conduct industry training, exchanges, consultations, exhibitions, and other activities. It will actively assist government departments in conducting industry investigations, decision-making consultations, and industrial policy formulation, objectively and fairly mediate conflicts and disputes among members, members and non members, and members and consumers, play a role in safeguarding social public interests, and promote the healthy development of China's lubricant industry.

The third is to standardize the business behavior of member enterprises. The Lubricant Professional Committee will strengthen education and supervision on member enterprises' lawful operation and tax compliance, enhance industry self-discipline, ensure product quality, maintain fair market competition and social public interests, strengthen self-discipline on product and service quality, cooperate with government supervision and management, and crack down on illegal activities of producing and selling counterfeit and inferior products.

The fourth is to unite the power of private lubricant enterprises, leverage the effect of "holding together for warmth", break the monopoly of foreign brands on the high-end lubricant market, actively participate in market-oriented and international competition, and promote and ensure the supply security of lubricant oil, an important energy market.
